53 Prayer Leaders, Quran Memorizers among Gaza Martyrs

AL-QUDS (IQNA) – As the Israeli regime’s relentless terrorism in Gaza, more people are being killed in the Palestinian enclave every day, and among those martyred in the Israeli attacks are prayer leaders of mosques and memorizers of the Quran.

According to Gaza health ministry, 53 Quran memorizers, prayer leaders and personnel of the Awqaf ministry have been martyred in the Zionist attacks for far.

It said they have been killed along with members of their families in the Israeli regime’s savage attacks.

Meanwhile, the health ministry put the death toll in the Zionist attacks on Gaza since October 7 at more than 9,770, saying the martyrs include 4,800 children and 2,550 women.

A health ministry spokesman said the Zionist forces have killed 243 Palestinians over the past 24 hours alone.

The ministry has also received reports of 2,660 people, including 1,270 children, missing under the rubble, he added.

The spokesman stressed that the health system in the Gaza Strip is in critical conditions and the hospitals in the region are not capable of providing health and treatment services to people.
